[Use Case] Aggregate Storage Silo Pipe Beam Replacement Work

We will introduce a case where the replacement of two sections of pipe beams improved maintainability!

We would like to introduce the pipe beam replacement work carried out at a ready-mixed concrete plant in Aichi Prefecture for the aggregate storage silo. The pipe-shaped beams inside the silo used for storing aggregates had deteriorated, necessitating their replacement. The surface of the central pipe beam had worn down, resulting in a hole that allowed aggregates to enter. Before the work, the pipes were a single piece, but they were designed and manufactured in a split format to allow for the replacement of only the worn areas. In this project, two tiers of pipe beams were replaced, improving maintenance accessibility.
